Everywhere you look now….. “we’re an ai startup” but scratch a little deeper….. 90% are just wrappers on top of chatgpt. a new ui, a shiny name, some prompt engineering and bas, ho gaya “startup.” truth is, anyone can spin up a wrapper. but not everyone can build a moat. the real question: are you solving a hard problem or just putting lipstick on openai’s work? this ai wave is big, no doubt. but only those building fundamentals (infra, models, unique data, distribution) will survive the crash. rest? temporary noise. what do you think :- are wrappers valid startups or just features waiting to be killed? — Bhavin

"Just a GPT wrapper." "Just a VS Code clone." Yet they're worth billions. Same tools. Same time. But they shipped. You scrolled. Maybe it’s time we stop spectating and start building. Cursor didn’t wait. Why are you?

The other day, my wife asked me to pass her lipstick but I accidentally passed her a glue stick. She still isn't talking to me.
