💡 I’ve realized something in my life. every single decision I make, no matter how small, creates a ripple. Some ripples turn into waves that push me forward, others… pull me back. When I first started, I said “yes” to almost everything. Every collab, every task, every “opportunity.” I thought this was hustle. But honestly? Many of those yes’s ended up draining me. I was giving away my skills, my time, my creativity… for free. All in the name of “experience” or “exposure.” What I didn’t notice at first was that while I was busy fueling someone else’s dream, mine was on pause. Here’s what I learned the hard way :( If there’s no clarity on expectations, you’ll end up overworked and underappreciated. If you say yes to everything, you’re basically saying no to your own growth. If you don’t value your time and skills, no one else will. Now, I’m more intentional. I don’t just ask, “What will I get from this?”. I ask, “Does this align with where I want to go?” Because every decision compounds. Every “yes” builds either your vision or someone else’s. And honestly? The freedom to choose wisely is the real flex in entrepreneurship ig 🌝 and ya I am back 🙂
