Should a founder never miss an opportunity from an investor who is ready to give money for his startup?? My honest opinion is NO. A founder should be very picky when it comes to choosing an investor. Randomly saying yes to every investor is more dangerous than not having an investor at all. Reasons are multiple but the basic one is too obvious. If someone is putting money only with the expectation of making more money, just remember, that money is coming out of your hardwork. Your active involvement is making their passive income. You're biggest dream is their sidekick. Your sleepless nights are providing him comfortable sleep. Always make sure to pick the one who is passionate about your business , understand your business, ready to pull their socks and jump into the river with you to give a helping hand in the impossible task of dragging the sinking ship to the shore. My question to all the enthusiastic founders, Are you just looking for any random person who just gives you some money or you look for any specific attributes when looking for an investor??
