Everyone told us not to use a negative word in our brand name. We built our brand around it instead. Every single time Manasi and I get on a call, whether it’s with a lead, a partner, or just someone curious, we almost always hear the same thing: “We love your brand name.” The very next question? “So… how did you come up with it?” And just like that, the conversation starts on a high note. The ice is broken. The call flows easier. We end up smiling more. They lean in more. Some even told us they liked it so much, they checked if the trademark was available, because they wanted to use it themselves. (Spoiler: nope, we’ve got it locked down for “The Clueless Company®” 😄) Now, here’s the funny part. “Clueless” is technically a negative word. But for us, it’s always worked in our favor. Because the truth is, every founder, every leader, and every team starts off a little clueless. We did too. And instead of hiding that, we owned it. We built a brand that wears curiosity and humility as a badge of honour. In fact, one of the best things that’s ever happened to Manasi and me… is our brand name. We’re ridiculously proud of it. And the biggest lesson? Sometimes the thing that seems like a weakness… becomes your most powerful strength if you own it completely.
