To the Product designers who worked in both service based and product based companies which is better and why? Asking as a fresher product designer who worked with many design agencies and freelancer.

As i have seen in services based companies profit margin start from day 1 , while in product based companies no timeline for profit it may be 6 months or 2~4 years so why people choose product based companies .

THAT'S WHY IT AIN'T GOOD People who think the best products are made based on asking customers what they want, are the ones who can't define the product themselves. In short, observation is an act of brilliance.
