Here’s the thing, coding is not engineering. Engineering is a full blown course curriculum and the selection is that’s why dependent of PCM to know if the student is overall capable. Then branches make the course specialised.

I agree I'm not opposing the PCM syllabus but with that can't we add a branch specific subject. so that at least students ko pta chal jaye ki they have actual interest or not. Because I have seen more than 400 students leave college in 2nd year around 200 in 3rd. they wasted their most precious 3 years on something they are not even going to continue in life. It's just a single college just imagine how many students have done this?

I agree with that. I thinking codification of engineering created a lot of problems in India.
