Grades measure obedience, not intelligence. In most classrooms, students are rewarded not for how deeply they think, but for how well they follow instructions. Memorizing facts, repeating answers, and staying within the lines are often valued more than questioning, exploring, or thinking differently. Intelligence isn’t tested , conformity is. Those who challenge the system, ask "why," or think beyond the textbook are often labeled as distractions rather than innovators. In this setup, academic success becomes more about how well you play the game than how smart or capable you truly are.
