**Backstory** So I launched Habitide about 3 months ago kind of unintentionally. I’ve always struggled with finding that “one app” that helps me build habits without overwhelming me. Most apps either feel like spreadsheets or gamified chores. I wanted something calm, flexible, and actually usable offline - especially for people like me who sometimes just want to write down a few habits and track them without being nagged. So I built one for myself. Habitide started as a lightweight habit tracker that also let me journal and manage simple to-dos. I wasn’t planning a “launch,” but I shared it with a couple of friends and posted about it casually on social media. Slowly, people started asking for the link. Then more people asked for features. That’s when it clicked. Even without ads or marketing, it hit 1,000 installs, and we now have around 260 active users and even a little revenue ($50), which surprised me because it wasn’t my goal at all. It felt like something people needed. **Lean Startup Vibes** I added a feedback form inside the app thinking no one would use it, but turns out people do when they actually like something. I started getting great feature requests - not wild ones - just thoughtful stuff like import/export, stat summaries, and deeper customization. So I kept building. The cool part? It still feels simple. No clutter. No pressure. You can journal, track habits, use it offline, and even export your data whenever you want. Why This Matters For me, apps like Notion or big productivity systems always felt... too heavy. Habitide is more like a quiet assistant - you open it, do your thing, close it. That’s it. Now I’m working on an AI feature that auto-suggests habits based on the goals you set. Not fully sure how far I’ll go with that yet, but it's exciting to see what’s possible. Would love your thoughts! If you’ve built or used something similar, I’d love to hear what worked for you - or what you'd want in a habit app that actually sticks. 👉 https://habitide.in Let’s keep things simple
