On the side, Iโ€™ve explored Flutter (though I understand it's not directly aligned with .NET). Right now, I'm at a point in my career where Iโ€™m wondering about the long-term trajectory: Should I continue specializing in .NET, moving deeper into areas like architecture, cloud (Azure), and performance optimization? Or should I consider transitioning into a more generalized SDE path, building strong foundations in DSA, system design, and language-agnostic problem solving to potentially explore companies like FAANG or top product firms? For context: Current CTC: โ‚น11.5 LPA Experience: 5 Years Role: Backend-focused development (.NET Core) Would really appreciate insights โ€” especially from those who transitioned between the two or made strategic decisions around sticking to .NET.
