Upsell that sells, solves, not simply upsells! An upsell often starts when a subject matter expert (SME) solves a critical issue no one else could fix. After resolving the problem, the SME highlights a premium feature or service that could prevent similar issues in the future. Even if that extra service isn’t strictly necessary, it creates a logical extension for the customer “Why not invest a bit more for peace of mind?” Whether it’s priority support, advanced monitoring, regular performance checks, or automation add-ons, the upsell fits naturally as a value-driven suggestion after the customer feels relieved. It’s less about pushing and more about showing the smarter option. Example - In this carousel, I’m simply sharing the common nodes that actually make sense when building n8n agents and automations. No promotional gig 💀 , just me unintentionally upselling n8n’s capabilities by showing what genuinely works through this post.
