Unless you have a working time machine or a cure for cancer, maybe dial back the certainty. Confidence is good, arrogance is deadly. Here's what I look for in pitches: 1) Clear problem definition 2) Compelling solution 3) Large addressable market 4) Proof of traction 5) Strong team 6) Reasonable valuation 7) Clear use of funds. If you can nail these seven points in 10 minutes, you'll be ahead of 80% of founders I meet.
