Hard disagree. AI is already generating decent UI mockups and wireframes. Give it 6 months and tools like Midjourney + GPT will be cranking out full design systems. "Human empathy" in design is just another pattern that AI will learn to replicate.

Ain't saying it can't build, but still can't be built to make it feel good for user's. Like our brain responds quickly psychology matters in each and every scenario or application we use that can't be built by AI until AGI comes 🙂. Now think about Zomato having blue colour theme ? would you feel great ? would your brain think it's good looking or great to use ? Absolutely no. But yes it can improve alot AI can be the best UI UX designer but matching to humans psychology i doubt.
