And yet, I get charged a ₹4 “platform fee” — non-refundable. Like… what? What “platform service” did I use? The privilege of changing my mind on a free app? I can understand if an item is already shipped, packed, or has some logistics cost. But this? This is digital pickpocketing. Now imagine millions of people cancelling orders. ₹4 x millions = crores in passive income for Flipkart… for doing nothing. This isn’t about ₹4 — this is about normalizing scummy microcharges for literally breathing on the app. Flipkart, what next? • ₹2 for viewing a product? • ₹5 for adding to cart and removing? • ₹10 for cancelling a return?
