Ever since I heard that the Finance Ministry is pushing PSU companies to take their subsidiaries public through IPOs, SBI was the first name that came to my mind. And today I came across an article on Moneycontrol saying the same thing. So clearly it’s not just me a lot of people are thinking along the same lines there is a real chance SBI could get re-rated in the market and this could lead to some serious value unlocking.

The Finance Ministry has directed public sector companies to list their subsidiary firms on the stock market as well. In the coming days we could see a wave of new public sector listings backed by strong fundamentals and solid valuations.
