I asked ChatGPT: “If I sell your microphone data but say it’s to ‘improve your experience’… is that legal?” ChatGPT explained how tech giants call it *innovation*, bury consent, pay fines, and move on. If I did it? That’s a crime. So is it illegal—or just unaffordable?
