Cheap clients. Bad logos. AI-generated designs. These might be the best things to happen to graphic designers. Listened to an incredible episode of The Angry Designer Podcast featuring logo experts Allan Peters and James Barnard for the second time this morning. They didn’t complain. They explained. - Low-cost platforms like Fiverr? They expose how bad design looks. - AI tools? They make templated work easier to spot. - Budget logos? They become painful reminders of shortcuts that didn’t scale. All of these open the door for serious designers to step in. Because when the stakes go up, Clients come crawling back for real strategy, real longevity, and real ROI. Barnard said clients often become “ashamed” of their first logo. Peters said there are millions of logo design opportunities because companies are born and reborn every day. The message is simple: Be the grown-up in the room. - Lead the process. - Explain your choices. - Fight for clarity. - Make logos that work in one color, on a billboard, or on a phone. There is no single process that wins. Barnard presents one polished logo after a deep discovery. Peters presents 15 black-and-white vectors to build trust and collaboration. Both work—because both are intentional. If you’re a designer, stop fearing AI and cheap work. They’re just bad actors making your good work look great. #LogoDesign #AllanPeters #JamesBarnard #DesignTips #AI
