Bike taxis help to reduce traffic congestion -they are faster -they are cheaper -they drop you at your location -they can use shortcuts (saves time) Moreover, it gives employment to a lot of people. Bengaluru being the tech hub needs bike taxi because it decreases the pollution also because 1 bike taxi is used by like around 2-4 people but now after banning it 1-2 people of that 2-4 people will definitely make a decision to buy a bike which will increase carbon emission. These are just my thoughts I am not a specialist I am just a 12th standard student.

It's not as if that those bike taxis don't cause congestion. While it does reduce it, it kinda make it harder for cars to actually drive around and that causes irritation to the driver.
