Learnings from Peter Thiel (Founder of PayPal) After listening to him, I gained the following insights. • A business built on a strong network can scale rapidly, as networks grow exponentially over time, creating a chain-like effect. • When improving a product, don't focus on making just one part 10x better. Instead, try to enhance every part to some extent. Collectively, this results in a much more effective, appealing, and valuable product. • If no one else is doing something, that’s actually a good sign. Don’t overthink. Instead, see it as an opportunity—it’s often easier to scale when there’s no competition. • If you start early, by the time competition arrives, you'll already be far ahead—making it easier to stay on top. • Many people get so caught up in winning competitions that they lose sight of what’s truly important and valuable for their startup. • However, competition isn't entirely bad—it pushes you to improve. So, maintain a balance.
