100% agree. the “next Bangalore” should be a network, not a location. states like odisha, assam, and chhattisgarh are full of untapped potential.

Quality will get diluted if you spread too thin too fast. Focus and depth are more important than just scattering resources across geographies.

I don't know what's next Bangalore, but Hyderabad has huge potential more than bangalore because they're observing what mistakes are made by bangalore city roads and traffic, so now Hyd is focusing on roads, traffic and sewage. The past government took an initiative to improve innovation in Hyd and build T- Hub which is phenomenal. If there is a tough competition for Bangalore it's Hyderabad. And I like progressive competition. I'm also from Hyderabad.

The governance challenge here would be insane. India's federal structure means each state has different policies, bureaucracy, and political priorities. How do you create a "national innovation network" when states can't even implement GST uniformly? The coordination required between center and 28+ states would be a bureaucratic nightmare.

Interesting idea but what's each state's natural innovation advantage? Karnataka has IT heritage, Tamil Nadu has manufacturing, Gujarat has entrepreneurial culture, Maharashtra has finance. You can't just decree that Jharkhand becomes a tech hub. Innovation clusters emerge around existing strengths, ports, universities, industrial bases. I’m just curious, as to how do you identify and build on each state's comparative advantage?
