It's a common observation, and one worth questioning: Why are internships predominantly structured to require a college degree, often leaving out skilled 10th and 12th pass-outs? Many young individuals develop impressive skills through self-learning, vocational training, or personal projects long before (or instead of) pursuing higher education. Yet, the doors to foundational work experience often remain closed to them. Are we missing out on a valuable talent pool by adhering to traditional hiring criteria for internships? How can we advocate for skill-based internship models that truly reflect modern workforce needs? #CareerDevelopment #EarlyTalent #Skillset #HiringTrends #EqualOpportunity
