It almost already is. I'm the last 2 weeks, i only made 20 Google searches while i make way more than than daily on ChatGPT. That's because Chatgpt now does almost everything what we earlier used Google and YT for, for eg: - Answers - Tutorials - S

Right now ChatGPT is free, while Google is full of ads. So it's getting popular. Now looking at how much funding OpenAi is raising, it's not gonna be limited to only paid subs any time soon. They cab introduce ads but we'll still use it.

For images, I still use Google. Any Ai Chatbot like Chatgpt is still isn't tha good when it comes to sourcing images. Apart from that?

How many true events can be sourced ? How many website can you source ? as many as Google can ? Gpt is far behind search engine it will take alot of time to be search engine.

You made a valid point. Sourcing true information is still tough and it's not perfect at it. Tho, I personally still rely on it as it's fast and I ask follow up questions quickly. There's a reason why even before ai, we used to check the big bordered answer box while using Google.

Why do our Indian software developers fail to create Chromium-based web browsers or develop a separate privacy-centric search engine? Just look at search engines and browsers like DuckDuckGo, Startpage, Qwant, Baidu, Yandex, Firefox, and many others.
