Yea even i have read this article and also suggest you to read Indian express article on this. Even if they roll out ads it will maybe be on status page and won't be visible for everyone maybe particular leads only.

I've read too , how they're gonna implement ads , but I feel it's just for getting started slowly they will implement in other areas too , if it's making money for them but they won't rush it

However we have medial now. I don't even use WhatsApp much until i have to text my parents or sometimes friends or close ones.
