Build MVP apps • 14d
Hey everyone—looking for real advice from those with Play Store experience. Back in January, I created my first Google Play Developer account. I messed up with AdMob during internal testing and got permanently banned for "high-risk behavior." Appeal failed. Now, months later, I’ve rebuilt the app (includes IAP and AI) properly. It works well, but I’m hesitant to publish it due to my ban history and how Google handles AI apps from new devs. To be cautious, I’ve set up a new account (new IP, email, device) and plan to first publish a simple offline app to build trust before launching my main product. My Plan: Start with a “safe” offline-only app to establish credibility. Then publish my actual AI app later. Is this a smart approach? Will it help rebuild trust with Google? Any red flags I might be missing? Would love to hear from anyone who’s done something similar or dealt with rejections.
