Recently my Google Play Console Account was terminated due to a scam and I'm unable to recover it. I'm a freelance android app developer just starting out. Recently on upwork a client asked me to publish their app. I published it unaware that it contained malware and soon first the app was suspended and then my account was terminated. Does any of you knows how I can recover my account if not recreate a new one.

make sure you’ve appealed the termination decision. Google usually sends an email with instructions on how to appeal. Be honest and explain that you were unaware of the malware in the app and outline the steps you’ll take to prevent it from happening again. Moving forward, make sure to establish a strong vetting process for clients and their apps. It might seem tedious, but it will save you from potential issues like this. Building a good reputation is crucial, especially as a freelancer.
