Sci-fi no more! 🤯 Brain-Computer Interfaces (BCIs) are letting people play video games using just their thoughts. Imagine controlling your game character or making moves with "telepathic" precision – it's happening now! How does it work? These advanced systems, some using EEG headsets & others tiny implants (like Neuralink's "Telepathy"), read electrical signals from the brain. AI then helps translate these signals into game commands, bypassing traditional controllers. We're seeing incredible progress! Paralysed individuals have played games like chess and even complex titles like Civilization VI or Counter-Strike 2 using BCI. The accuracy and speed of control are constantly improving, sometimes approaching that of a mouse. This is HUGE, not just for gaming! BCIs have massive potential for assistive technology, helping people with disabilities communicate & interact. It's a major step towards a future where we interact with all tech in more intuitive, thought-powered ways.
