I recently tried a low-budget advertising campaign for my software. I’m still a school student, so I haven’t explored digital marketing for my projects yet—our first paid software, VoxSynapse, is still under development, and for now we only have few free applications available. To gain some exposure, I built free Odoo websites for my teachers to advertise their tuition services. Then I designed banners with QR codes linking to those websites and sticked them in the rooms where they teach. (I wasn’t actually promoting the teachers—they didn’t pay me for this—it was simply a way to attract attention.) On each website, I added ads for my software. Because these tutors are quite popular, their students naturally get curious: they see the banner, scan the QR code, and arrive at website, where they find the software ads. (BTW each privet tutors here avrgly teach 200+ students)
