Are coaching centres like Aakash or Pw or Unacademy etc really needed to clear competitive exams such as NEET, JEE ETC.?

i'd say they are not strictly "needed." Many aspirants successfully clear NEET or JEE through dedicated self-study and consistent effort. However, coaching centers provide structured guidance, comprehensive study materials, regular test series, and a competitive environment which can be highly beneficial. They can significantly aid in discipline and clarify complex concepts from experienced faculty. Ultimately, success hinges on individual perseverance and smart preparation, whether you opt for coaching or choose the self-study path.
