Warm Intros vs Cold Outreach - What Works in Fundraising? It's not a surprise that: Warm intros work better ✅ - Because trust gets transferred. - The intro gives you credibility before the pitch. But what if you don’t have a network yet? 🔸 Cold emails can work - if you do 3 things right: a. Make it short b. Make it specific (Problem, solution, round size, traction) c. Make it relevant (Why them?) Most cold pitches fail because they’re vague, or irrelevant. Start building your network early. But while you're at it, send better cold emails, too. They still open doors.
