Kinda same happened with me. Now I'm regretting that. Still the times have changed. The degree you opted for doesn't matter as you can learn almost anything you want online (ie YT, Udemy, etc). The only issue is that you end up wasting a lot of time studing the subjects you're not interested in anymore.
