That’s why the real answer isn’t MVP vs marketing, it’s: Build a simple MVP and market it just enough to get real users. You don’t need a full-scale campaign - just: A landing page A few posts on Reddit, X, or Product Hunt Reaching out to niche communities or early adopters Think of it as “traction-first” marketing: just enough visibility to test the MVP’s value. If no one bites, maybe the idea or targeting needs tweaking not necessarily the product itself. So yes, MVP is first but marketing must come immediately after, even in lightweight form.
