840 is actually very cheap tbh..See even the basic 2gb per day pack costs around 300 and if you got for the unlimited wifi packs, they will cost around 600-900. Now as per this source, starlink will be offering unlimited data at 840 a month that too which whick will be available even in the remote areas of India. I agree that most of us don't need it as we already have good internet service. Tho, for everyone else, it's a boon at such price.
