After years of financial strain, BSNL reported a net profit of ₹262 crore in Q3FY25 marking its first profitable quarter since 2007. This comes after a loss of ₹849 crore in Q4FY24. Despite this milestone, the company posted an overall loss of ₹2,247 crore for FY25. However, this represents a significant improvement a 58% reduction from the ₹5,370 crore loss in FY24. The turnaround was supported by BSNL’s highest ever capital expenditure, improved EBITDA margins, and record revenue from core operations and asset monetisation.
