What's happening to Sarvam has happened to so many consumer apps that claimed they were made for Bharat but didn't have a better use case than global counterparts even after great funding. The world doesn't care about the Bharat sentiment, they care about the utility. I hope we look at Sarvam for the utility with the same lens and it truly becomes a great company.

Agreed. Also they are trying to offer Ai models in regional languages, but if a user knows how to use a mobile/laptop, he surely knows basic English and Hindi. Also other regional languages are really very difficult to type on, so except for voice to voice or voice to text models, it makes no sense for a consumer to use it.

there is a use case problem in this. do we really need what they are offering. secondly indians don't market our product well. thirdly to sell globally we need soft power which is not as strong for India as now. we have such a big advantage of NRIs whom we can't cater to and yet we don't.
