A 25% import tariff on iPhones not made in the US? That’s like telling Apple, “Think different—but only if it's American-made!” Trump’s message was loud and clear: No more “Designed in California, Assembled in India (or anywhere else)” if you want to sell in the US without paying extra. It’s a classic Trump move—America First, Apple Second, and India somewhere far behind in the lineup. Now the ball is in Apple’s court: eat the tariff costs or start hammering out iPhones stateside. Either way, the global tech supply chain just got a lot more interesting (and expensive). Let’s see if Apple bites the bullet—or bites back.
