Curious to know → Why doesn't India have a luxury watch brand?

India absolutely has the craftsmanship heritage..look at traditional jewelry making in Rajasthan or the intricate metalwork in Tamil Nadu. The issue is that luxury is about brand heritage and storytelling, not just craftsmanship. Swiss brands have 150+ years of marketing their "precision" and "tradition." Indian brands would need decades of consistent premium positioning to compete. Plus, Indian consumers themselves associate luxury watches with Swiss/German heritage - it's a perception battle that's incredibly hard to win.
