The issue is that luxury is about brand heritage and storytelling, not just craftsmanship. Swiss brands have 150+ years of marketing their "precision" and "tradition." Indian brands would need decades of consistent premium positioning to compete. Plus, Indian consumers themselves associate luxury watches with Swiss/German heritage - it's a perception battle that's incredibly hard to win.
