Epic hack: +600% increase What do you think when you hear about the "acquiring other websites" strategy? I bet “millions of dollars per acquisition.” Matthew Barby purchased a website for $50 (not thousands, not millions - fifty dollars) through an auction Flippa. Then he did this: 1. Copied content from the purchased website to his CMS. 2. Temporarily added no index tags to the copied content. 3. Ensured that the URL structure is as similar as possible. 4. Within the acquired website, he set up canonical tags to point to the new URLs on his core website. 5. Removed the no index tags from the migrated content on his core website. As a result, search traffic increased by 600% in under 3 months, and continues to rise. Save this post for the next time you need.
