Makes sense. In early-stage startups, work-life balance usually takes a backseat since everything’s urgent, and everyone wears multiple hats. Although I think as the company grows, it would/should get easier to bring in structure and boundaries that support a healthier balance.

Honestly? i prefer this over fake mental health day posts from VCs while their teams burn out. This is at least transparent.

this is reality for early-stage teams. the only way to build without killing personal life is structured flexibility. respect to him for saying it.
