A client once came to us with a 3-page document full of “must-have” features. No clear user goal. No business priority. Just features. Everywhere. We sat them down and asked one question: “What’s the one thing your user must be able to do, or you don’t have a product?” Silence. Then clarity. That’s when the real product was born. Too many startups build everything except what actually matters. Focus is a feature.

Obsessing over distribution is good, but it doesn’t help with when your product has high churn. Churn will always outpace the distribution and hence the growth. Building a good product is still number one priority.
