1. So, I am planning to integrate a serverless compute which would monitor the endpoints' stability and whether it is rendering or not. This would enact as a handler to switch the DNS, one that is exposing the local IP, the other one that's deployed on to the cloud platform. 2. Testing is a bit tricky part. As of now, I have set no plans, as these all are in the POC state. But for starters, I could maybe cause a pause on the server, so that it's disconnected, or acts like the server has crashed.
