𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗚𝗼𝗹𝗱𝗲𝗻 𝗥𝘂𝗹𝗲 𝗼𝗳 𝗦𝗮𝗹𝗲𝘀: 𝗗𝗼𝗻’𝘁 𝗟𝗼𝗼𝗸 𝗟𝗶𝗸𝗲 𝗮 𝗦𝗮𝗹𝗲𝘀𝗽𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗼𝗻 The best salesperson never looks like they are 𝐬𝐞𝐥𝐥𝐢𝐧𝐠. The best marketing never feels like 𝐦𝐚𝐫𝐤𝐞𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐠. 𝗪𝗵𝘆? Because when you look like you’re selling, people’s guard goes up. It’s like when you see “Ad” written on a Google search result — you automatically trust it less. Instead of focusing on selling harder, you should focus on building a 𝐟𝐫𝐚𝐦𝐞. 𝗪𝗵𝗮𝘁’𝘀 𝗮 𝗳𝗿𝗮𝗺𝗲? 𝐀 𝐟𝐫𝐚𝐦𝐞 𝐢𝐬 𝐡𝐨𝐰 𝐩𝐞𝐨𝐩𝐥𝐞 𝐬𝐞𝐞 𝐲𝐨𝐮 𝐞𝐯𝐞𝐧 𝐛𝐞𝐟𝐨𝐫𝐞 𝐲𝐨𝐮 𝐬𝐩𝐞𝐚𝐤. If they see you as a trusted friend, they’ll happily buy from you. If they see you as just another salesperson, they’ll push you away — no matter how good your skills are. 𝗘𝘅𝗮𝗺𝗽𝗹𝗲: Think about Harry Styles. He doesn’t need to sell tickets on the street. His fans trust him and love him already. They want to pay to see him. Even the best 𝐜𝐨𝐥𝐝-𝐜𝐚𝐥𝐥𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐬𝐚𝐥𝐞𝐬𝐩𝐞𝐫𝐬𝐨𝐧 𝐢𝐧 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐰𝐨𝐫𝐥𝐝 would never be able to compete with that kind of trust. 𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗞𝗲𝘆 𝗜𝗱𝗲𝗮: 𝟏 𝐠𝐫𝐚𝐦 𝐨𝐟 𝐭𝐫𝐮𝐬𝐭 (𝐟𝐫𝐚𝐦𝐞) 𝐢𝐬 𝐬𝐭𝐫𝐨𝐧𝐠𝐞𝐫 𝐭𝐡𝐚𝐧 𝟏 𝐤𝐢𝐥𝐨𝐠𝐫𝐚𝐦 𝐨𝐟 𝐬𝐚𝐥𝐞𝐬 𝐬𝐤𝐢𝐥𝐥𝐬. Most people make the mistake of only working on 𝐬𝐚𝐥𝐞𝐬 𝐭𝐫𝐢𝐜𝐤𝐬 — cold calls, persuasion tactics, closing techniques. But if they spent more time building 𝐭𝐫𝐮𝐬𝐭 and creating the 𝐫𝐢𝐠𝐡𝐭 𝐟𝐫𝐚𝐦𝐞, sales would happen naturally without so much effort. 𝗛𝗲𝗿𝗲’𝘀 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗿𝗲𝗮𝗹 𝘀𝗵𝗼𝗿𝘁𝗰𝘂𝘁: Build a strong frame. Build real trust. Be someone people want to 𝐡𝐞𝐚𝐫 𝐟𝐫𝐨𝐦 — not someone they want to 𝐫𝐮𝐧 𝐚𝐰𝐚𝐲 𝐟𝐫𝐨𝐦. When you focus on trust, sales come to you. When you focus only on selling, people run away. 𝗖𝗵𝗼𝗼𝘀𝗲 𝘄𝗶𝘀𝗲𝗹𝘆. One more thing - Peter Thiel once said that Elon Musk is actually the world's greatest salesman. ( Think 🤔)
