Open criticism and feedback please. I love the unhinged content on Reddit. In fact it is the only reason I still use it. But as a newbie it's tough to love reddit I get shadow banned, my posts get deleted. And what's the use of karma points if I cannot buy or shop anything. It's value-less currency. Just a comment metric. Its old fashioned and new companies like discord have sophisticated XP measurements. So here's my proposal Qrious- An online space for judgment-free non-partisan thoughts, passions and interests among users. Our motto is replace doom scrolling with smart factual content. We have a proprietary algorithm for token distribution for each different action in-app. Incentivising users because with flares (tokens) users can award creators, redeem in our in-app shops of different creators for heavy discounts.

Reddit is unfriendly to new users. Shadowbans, auto-mod deletions, and overly powerful mods create this gated town square vibe. If Qrious truly fosters open feedback without dogpiles or karma farming, that’s a W.

Interesting pitch, but gamifying opinions is risky. When you reward people for saying things, you end up with hot takes for attention. Reddit’s karma is flawed, yes—but at least it doesn’t mess with real money or create a "who said it first" arms race.
