HOW you seek criticism matters tremendously. Most people don't give honest feedback; they tell you what they think you want to hear. And ideas that seem obviously flawed can still succeed wildly (Airbnb, Twitter, etc.). The key isn't just collecting opinions but testing core assumptions with real potential users in ways that generate actionable insights, not just subjective feedback.
