This tragedy exists in a complex historical context that many discussions ignore. Kashmir's history doesn't begin or end with The Kashmir Files, and reducing these events to a religious conflict rather than understanding the geopolitical complexity serves certain narratives while blocking solutions. Yes, innocent Hindus were killed - that's horrific and unacceptable. But painting this solely as religious terrorism ignores decades of complicated history where civilians of all backgrounds have suffered. True peace requires honest recognition of all injustices and rebuilding trust across communities rather than isolating specific incidents to fuel more division.
