The name barely matters compared to your product. Seriously. Stripe could have been called "PayProcess" and would still be worth billions because the product solved a real pain point brilliantly. That said, here's my process: 1) Generate a list of 100+ names using word combinations related to your value prop 2) Filter for available .com domains 3) Test with potential customers by asking "If you heard this company name, what would you expect they do?" Most importantly, JUST PICK SOMETHING and move on. I spent 3 months agonizing over naming my first startup - complete waste of time that could have been spent building.
