B2C startups face entirely different challenges in Bharat, lower disposable income, higher resistance to paid services, and complex vernacular needs. That's why most successful consumer startups still start in metros and expand outward. The real strategy isn't "metros vs Bharat" but "what problem are you solving and for whom?" Some problems are best addressed starting in metros, others in Bharat.
