THE MAN WHO'S KILLED BY HIS OWN INNOVATION: In 1975,The Middle East Oil embargo affected the US in terms of car sales that made Stanley Allen Meyer a resident from Grove City, Ohio,America makes up his mind to find a way out of oil dependency. Stanley after putting up a lot of effort has invented a water powered fuel cell which can be fitted into an automobile which enables the automobile to use water as fuel. šŸ’”How does the water powered car work? Stanley's device basically works on the concept of electrolysis where the elements of water h2o is split into hydrogen and oxygen. The device burns hydrogen to create energy and emits oxygen along with water residuals leading into harmless emissions. Meyer claimed his vehicle could go 180 kilometers using only 4 liters of water—nothing else. The idea of driving 45 kilometers on just a liter of something as cheap as water must have seemed almost magical. šŸ’”What happened later?? Suspicions arose as to whether the device serves its purpose or not even though there is a video evidence which showed how the car functions with the device. Some were in support and some were against his thesis. In 1996,two investors of this project filed a case against him raising suspicions and the court ruled out that the invention is fake. 😨The death of stanley mayer: In 1998, Stanley was running out from the restaurant in a chaotic condition and shouted his last words "They poisoned me" and collapsed on the ground. Doctors claimed his "death by natural causes" but there are rumors stating that big players including the govt. are involved in his death which is definitely an unsolved mystery. A week after the inventor's death his car which is retrofitted with the device is stolen under unknown circumstances raising doubts about the inventor's death. Currently, stanley's patents are available in the public domain and no corporate has claimed it to be theirs. Stanley had previously stated that he had been threatened many times by representatives from oil companies from around the world. So what do you think? Is stanley killed because his innovation may become a threat to these big players who operate in the industry Or Is this a shock marketing by Stanley just to gain blind fame? His death remains a mystery! In 2006, BMW showed a version of its 7 Series that ran on petrol and liquid hydrogen. This shows that water-based fuel might have a future, somewhat supporting Stanley Meyer’s idea.
