Everyone talks about the raise. Very few talk about what hits after the wire lands. It’s not champagne.
It’s speed.
It’s pressure.
It’s silence. Suddenly the product you loved building.. turns into a number game. Suddenly you're building to justify the round - not the vision. And sometimes, the same VCs who promised “hands-on help” go hands-off. Know the truth:
Capital is a catalyst. Not a cure.
It won’t fix a broken product, a distracted team, or a foggy GTM. As a founder or operator, don’t just chase the raise. Chase alignment. Chase clarity. And chase partners who bring value on Day 91 - not just Day 1. Raising money is not a milestone.
It’s a responsibility with interest.

Can’t believe that someone spent a year on my app and enjoyed every bit of it. It’s not the money you raise or anything else that can give you such belief in your product or keep you going, it’s always user love.

You don’t find Product-Market Fit. You chase it. You tweak. You pivot. You obsess over feedback. Know - PMF isn’t a milestone, it’s a moving target.

People don’t just buy products; they buy status. If something is sold cheaply in a regular place, most won’t care. But brand it, sell it in a premium store at a higher price, and suddenly, everyone wants it. It’s not just about the product—it’s about
