Most "AI startups" are just implementing existing algorithms with minimal innovation. Our semiconductor plays are mostly design services, not actual chip manufacturing. The brutal truth is we lack the technical talent density in specialized domains that China built through decades of focused STEM education and returning experts. No amount of cheerleading changes this fundamental reality.
