It surely needs to rebuild it's manufacturing sovereignty, but it's not the government who builds the factories, it's the companies. Companies like Apple and Tesla which even after imposement of tarrifs, move to other countries for production (as it's still cheaper). This time Trump have imposed tarrifs on all Major countries so the price difference won't be much, but that 'much' isn't less when it comes to producing 1000 Dollar iPhones or 40 Grand Model 3. So, what do you think? Will these companies find other place to set up manufacturing or would set-up plants in US?
