This whole industry is basically gambling that escaped regulation through loopholes. Dream11's "game of skill" ruling was honestly BS - if you're putting money on uncertain outcomes, it's gambling. Period. MPL at least was honest about offering a variety of games including actual skill-based ones. Both companies essentially made money off addiction, but painting Dream11 as some brilliant visionary company is ridiculous. They're just better at navigating India's regulatory gray areas.
